Soren's choral works have been performed by ensembles across the west coast and internationally, including his piece, "Te Alabaré", which was performed by the California Lutheran University Choir on their 2024 European Tour. His most recent work, "What Wondrous Love is This?" was premiered by the California Lutheran University Choir at the 2026 Pacific Southwest Intercollegiate Choral Association festival. 

Soren's work in sacred music stems from the understanding that musical expression can lead to a profound relational connection, fostered within our communities and reaching towards the divine. Soren has served as a substitute accompanist for congregations in Washington and California, the Chapel Accompanist at Cal Lutheran from 2024-2026, and now serves as the Director of Music at CTS Lutheran in Bellingham, WA. 

With a basis in musical theater and a firm foundation in piano improvisation, Soren's theatrical work is embodied in live accompaniment for musical theater, integration with comedic improv troupes, and frequent collaboration on original children's musicals in partnership with the Bellingham Arts Academy for Youth.
